Domaine Alvina Pernot is the granddaughter of Paul Pernot. After years of working for her grandfather, she decided to produce her own style and started Domaine Alvina Pernot. In 2018, Alvina established her own négoce and grew grapes from her grandfather's vineyards. After a rigorous selection of which plots best suited her own style, she began production. Alvina wants to make wines with a bit more tension and therefore seeks grapes from higher-altitude plots. Moreover, she prefers to pick earlier to preserve more freshness and tension.
Domaine Alvina Pernot is one of the newest domains in Burgundy and it is impressive to be able to taste the potential of her wines. A domain we will undoubtedly hear more from in the coming years.
