Jean-Philippe Trousset learned the trade from his mother France Guillemart and father Jackie Trousset. The Guillemarts have a staggeringly long history is Champagne, Nicolas Guillemart was the first vintner in Sacy in 1697, many were to follow. In 1988, Jean-Philippe took over the business in stages and in 2008 he opened his own winery. His philosophy is to work with great respect for the environment and preserve or improve soil life.
Today, the estate covers 7.6 hectares spread over three communes classified as Premier Cru on the Petite Montagne de Reims, 3 parcels in Les Mesneux, 30 in Sacy, 6 parcels in Villedommange and 1 in Gueux.
The close relationship with the terroir and the vines allows us to make informed decisions tailored to the specific characteristics of each plot. In recognition of this approach, the estate has been HVE-certified (Haute Valeur Environnementale) since 2017.
The expertise of Champagne Jean-Philippe Trousset is a precious heritage, passed down from generation to generation, which translates into Champagnes of incomparable quality and elegance. Each bottle is the result of meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, reflecting passion and dedication to excellence.
