Productinformation
This 0.55ha vineyard with vines dating back to 1954, is located at the crossroads of the Combe de Nuits and the Combe de Vosne. There are two factors that make this vineyard unique:
- A brown soil rich in limestone from the Combe de Vosne (Réas = small round stones), which gives excitement and freshness to these wines.
- The steep slope, facing almost due south, ensures that the wine is always beautifully ripe.
Grapes are harvested by hand and completely destemmed. Again, a long fermentation with very gentle extraction. Maturation lasts 18 months in 50% new oak.
Its location on the middle slope gives this wine a complexity and refinement that rivals the appellation's best crus.
