This wine is blended from fruit from multiple parcels within Puligny Montrachet. This allows Paul Pernot to play with the proportions to find the perfect balance. The vines are between 55 and 60 years old so the juice is concentrated. This results in a fine direct nose with beautiful fruit and even a floral note, reminiscent of the nose of the 1er cru's. On the palate deliciously fat and creamy with more depth and flavour and a mineral undertone. All this makes it very enjoyable even when young. A super village wine!
