Pernand-Vergelesses stands (sometimes literally) in the shadow of the famous Corton hill. This unknown gem has impeccable vineyards and produces a wealth of refined wines.

The ‘Boutières’ vineyard lies at the foot of the slope, facing south-east, bordering Savigny and the premier crus Vergelesses and Les Fichots. The deep clay-rich soil and old vines produce intense earthy wines with expressive black fruit character.
