Productinformation
Located on the edge of the Premier Crus (aux Argilats and les Bousselots) in the northern part of the appellation, this 0.4-hectare plot was planted in 1962. Its name perfectly expresses its character: the charm of Vosne-Romanée wines with the structure of Nuits-Saint-Georges wines.
The soil is clayey in the first 40 to 50 centimetres, followed by limestone and solid rock.
Grapes are hand-harvested, 40% whole bunch, long fermentation with gentle extraction followed by 18 months of barrel aging of which 30% is new oak.
The wine has a nice balance. Red fruit mixed with floral notes that give this wine elegance, freshness and power.
