Vincent Durrieu is the fifth generation of the family to work the estate and continue the very traditional Burgundian methods, a noble tradition. Domaine Potinet-Ampeau is one of the few domains that makes wines then keeps them in its own cellar and lets them age until they reach their best period, before they are released.
A rarity in Burgundy, wines thereby gain an extra tertiary layer and character exactly what Durrieu wants. This results in a very elegant Monthelie with plenty of complexity. This working method makes Potinet Ampeau increasingly desirable!
