2022 was marked by striking climatic contrasts. A rainy autumn was followed by a frosty December. Spring brought unusually mild weather and spring was also particularly mild, culminating in May, which was the warmest in 50 years, encouraging vigorous growth. The summer was one of the hottest since 2023 with several heat waves.
Harvest began on 31 August in summer temperatures. Despite the extreme conditions, it produced wines of great finesse and remarkable elegance, with outstanding freshness and generous volume on the palate.
The wine has a distinctively rich and intense nose, the mineral tone beautifully wrapped in an abundance of red and black fruit, with cherry fruit coming out brilliantly. Wonderful finish, impeccable length and precision.
