Productinformation
This Chassagne comes from a small vineyard of only, 0.25ha, the vines are on average 32 years old and are on a limestone/clay soil.
After pressing, the wine goes into 228L barrels to rest and stabilise. This is also where the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation will take place. The wine then matures for a further 11 months in oak, after which it is racked and aged for another 4 to months in barrel before bottling.
Pronounced nose with lots of white and yellow fruit. Fatty on the palate with specific fruitiness. Elegant finish.
