This wine is a blend of appellations located in the commune of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. One plot of the estate covers 1ha with vines planted between 1978 and 1986, while the 2ha plots in Chambolle-Musigny were planted between 1954 and 1962.
The various plots are on clay-loam soil. Grapes are harvested by hand with 20% whole bunch. Slow fermentation, gentle extraction and 15 months aging in a quarter new oak.
It is a wine that surprises with its length and stamina. Nicely structured black fruit, fine tannins and a mineral freshness that provides balance.
This wine already offers great pleasure today and will gain further complexity after several years of aging.
