Productinformation
This cuvée is the result of a marriage between Beaujolais and Burgundy, more specifically between Gamay and Pinot Noir, hence the name ‘Les Deux Terres’.
Each year, Thibault selects the best grapes from the different estates. The blend is then determined from terroirs from the Beaujolais Crus, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Hautes Côte de Nuits. The blend varies from year to year but the goal remains the same: to make the best blend of this wine with the best ratio of Gamay and Pinot Noir.
The grapes are harvested by hand, 30% whole bunches. The wine matures for 12 months in old oak barrels.
The result is a wine with the finesse and distinction of pinot noir and the structure and delicacy of gamay. Very aromatic, beautiful black fruit with subtle spicy notes.
