Creux de la Net premier cru is 3.8ha, and is located in the main Premier Cru vineyard block of the municipality of Pernand-Vergelesses. Enclosed between Vergelesses 1er cru and En Caradeux 1er cru, it makes both white and red wines. The upper part is village-level and mainly suitable for white.
Delarche's plot is 0.33ha with a predominantly east-facing orientation. The vines are young, 7 years old, and stand on a clay-limestone soil.
The wine is fermented in barrels and then aged for 1 year: 10 months in oak barrels (30% new) and a further 2 months in stainless steel before bottling.
