This plot lies just below Clos de Bèze, almost where it joins Chambertin, and enclosed on either side by Chappelle-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin.
The steep slopes give the vines a unique microclimate, probably the warmest of the Grands Crus, ahead of Chambertin by 5-6 days.
This sunny, early-ripening appellation rests on silt once deposited by the valley. This exceptional terroir creates unique, enchanting wines that captivate the senses with their fresh nose and supple attack, characterised by notes of orange peel, citrus fruits and red berries.
2022 was marked by striking climatic contrasts. A rainy autumn was followed by a frosty December. Spring brought unusually mild weather and spring was also particularly mild, culminating in May, which was the warmest in 50 years, encouraging vigorous growth. The summer was one of the hottest since 2023 with several heat waves.
Harvest began on 31 August in summer temperatures. Despite the extreme conditions, it produced wines of great finesse and remarkable elegance, with outstanding freshness and generous volume on the palate.

The aromas are seductive, precise and concentrated. Red fruit is complemented by orange and citrus zest. Perfectly balanced on the palate, with rich red fruit aromas and good tension. A long, slightly spicy finish.
