Productinformation
As a 22-year-old, Lorraine Senard Pereira took over the estate from her father in 2000. 2002 white was her first independent harvest, followed by the reds in 2005. Indeed, her wines do differ from those of her father, Philippe Senard. Today, those wines are markedly softer and more harmonious. Today, Comte Senard once again offers the ample assurance of a true high-class Burgundy. Lorraine Senard produces about six grands crus from the Corton hillside, of which the monopole Clos de Meix, with 1.64 ha, offers the highlight result.
A lovely light, thirst-quenching summer wine with notes of white flowers, acacia and lovely freshness. After a gentle long pressing, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 12 months.
This wine is meant to be drunk young!
