The Chablis Grand Cru, Valmur, 2021, is a Grand Cru vineyard known for producing wines of exceptional quality within the Chablis region. Located in Burgundy, France, Chablis is famous for its Kimmeridgian limestone soils, which give a unique minerality to the wines. The Valmur vineyard is split in two on either side of the Sainte Vaubourg path. It has deeper clay-limestone soils than other Grand Cru's.
In the 2021 vintage, expect Guy Robin's Chablis Grand Cru to show the characteristics of the fresh, light year, with potential notes of fresh acidity, citrus fruits and a distinctive minerality.
