Productinformation

As a 22-year-old, Lorraine Senard Pereira took over the estate from her father in 2000. 2002 white was her first independent harvest, followed by the reds in 2005. Indeed, her wines do differ from those of her father, Philippe Senard. Today, those wines are markedly softer and more harmonious. Today, Comte Senard once again offers the ample assurance of a true high-class Burgundy. Lorraine Senard produces about six grands crus from the Corton hillside, of which the monopole Clos de Meix, with 1.64 ha, offers the highlight result.

Chorey-lès-Beaune is a wine village in the Côte de Beaune sub-region in Burgundy. Its wines are mainly red, made from about 125 hectares of Pinot Noir vines. However, a small but growing amount of white wine is also made from Chardonnay. Les Champs-Longs is located in the southern part and its 25-year-old vines, nurtured by biodynamic farming practices, produce grapes of exceptional quality.
