Productinformation
Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard is currently managed by Caroline Lestimé, who also runs her négociant business alongside this domain. Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard manages 9 hectares of vineyards, mainly in the Chassagne-Montrachet region. Caroline produces wine in the same way as her father, although we can see changes recently. In particular, the vineyards are worked in a biodynamic way. The wines have a classic character and have no formatting. The definition of a great Burgundy producer.
This wine comes from the lieux-dits Grands Clos and Clos Chareau and contains the essence of both terroirs. The Grands Clos, on higher limestone, and the Clos Chareau, on lower clay, contribute complexity. Great Morgeot, embodies spiciness and richness, with plump fruit and subtle floral notes. The texture is both serious and slightly firm, promising excellent ageing potential.
