For more than two centuries, this estate has been in a family domain. In 1974, Christian took over the domain from his parents, with vineyards mainly in Meursault, and some of his father-in-law's vineyards in Savigny lès Beaune. His son, Christophe, joined him in 1995. Together they expanded the domain to include plots in Meursault, Savigny lès Beaune, Chorey lès Beaune and Beaune. Today, Christophe manages the domain, which now totals 9 hectares.
They produce as many white and red wines with vines around 30 years old on average.
Respect for the terroir and vineyards has long been paramount. The aim, therefore, is to bring out the terroir in every wine.
This starts with a lot of work in the vineyard, to harvest healthy, ripe grapes. The vines are worked with the utmost respect for tradition and with environmentally friendly disease control.
The wines are delicate, precise and as natural as can be. Vinification and maturation are adapted to each vintage.
