Philippe and Vincent Jaboulet of Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet in Crozes-Hermitage, heirs to a viticultural heritage, created their domaine in 2006 after the sale of Maison Paul Jaboulet Ainé. Retaining 32 hectares, including a significant part of the original Thalabert vineyard, they added 37 hectares and began a new era, symbolised by the Nouvelère wine from the oldest Thalabert vines.
Their Crozes-Hermitage property produces robust red Syrah from younger vines, while the white wine is made from Marsanne grapes. The Hermitage produces Syrah from 30-year-old vines, carefully tended using organic methods, and limited editions of white wines based on Roussanne. A touch of red wine comes from Cornas. The entire domaine has the High Environmental Value certification, a testament to its commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
