A relatively unknown estate about which little has been written. Domaine La Truffière par Robert Comte is currently run by Robert Comte with the assistance of Laeticia Falci. A winemaking duo with a passion for terroir and it shows when we taste with them. We meet in the Montrachet vineyard at sunset for a tasting. As we taste the fantastic quality and depth, Robert explains the domain's vision. For him, it is all about the terroir and the winemaker must do everything possible to make the grape perform at its best. Once in the cellars, the wines are classically raised and some are kept for longer periods. This allows us to offer both a fantastic 2010 Chambertin and a more mature Pommard. A winemaker relatively unknown today, but bursting with potential.
