Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard is currently managed by Caroline Lestimé, who also runs her négociant business alongside this domain. She took over the domain in 1989. This domain is also descended from the Gagnard family and thus has many of its vineyards. Caroline produces wine in the same way as her father, although we can see changes recently. In particular, the vineyards are being worked in a more responsible way. Within Dutch sommeliers, Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard has a group of die-hard fans, which is why these wines are often sold out immediately. Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard manages 9 hectares of vineyards, mainly in the Chassagne-Montrachet region. In addition to its white wines, it also produces fantastic red Chassagne-Montrachet. The absolute best is found in the Chassagne-Montrachet Blanchot-Dessus, a vineyard a stone's throw from the Grand Cru's with unprecedented character. Caroline's wines are certified organic and she applies many biodynamic principles. The wines have a classic character and have no formatting. The definition of a great Burgundy producer.
