Productinformation
This Chambolle Village was previously called ‘’Orveaux des Bussières‘’.
It is a blend of two plots (Les Drazys & Les Bussières) with a combined area of 0.65ha. One plot was planted in the early 1900s and lies on soil rich in marl and clay, giving the vines deep roots. The other plot has a higher proportion of pebbles and foothills.
2022 was marked by striking climatic contrasts. A rainy autumn was followed by a frosty December. Spring brought unusually mild weather and spring was also particularly mild, culminating in May, which was the warmest in 50 years, encouraging vigorous growth. The summer was one of the hottest since 2023 with several heat waves.
Harvest began on 31 August in summer temperatures. Despite the extreme conditions, it produced wines of great finesse and remarkable elegance, with outstanding freshness and generous volume on the palate.
