Vincent Durrieu is the fifth generation of the family to work the estate and continue the very traditional Burgundian methods. And it is a noble tradition. Domaine Potinet-Ampeau is one of the few domains that makes wine to age and keeps its vintages in its own cellars to allow them to age properly before release.
A rare case, a producer withholding his wines until they come into their best period. Great. A classic base Burgundy. Pale gold in colour that in the nose aromas of lemon, vanilla and ginger. Medium-bodied with good acidity where notes of citrus curb the creamy character and with good length. Great value for money!
