Productinformation
As a 22-year-old, Lorraine Senard Pereira took over the estate from her father in 2000. 2002 white was her first independent harvest, followed by the reds in 2005. Indeed, her wines do differ from those of her father, Philippe Senard. Today, those wines are markedly softer and more harmonious. Today, Comte Senard once again offers the ample assurance of a true high-class Burgundy.
Lorraine Senard produces about six grands crus from the Corton hillside, of which the monopole Clos de Meix, with 1.64 ha, offers the highlight result.
This special Bourgone Blanc is named after Lorraine's daughter, as they both share the same character; Balanced and harmonious!
This fresh wine comes from 10-year-old vines and is aged for 12 months on 350-litre oak barrels, 60% of which are new oak.
The result in a wine full of surprises. Fresh, fruity, harmonious and elegant yet with some body and notes of acacia honey. Drink within four years!
